Intumescents - For Steel
Brosteel spacer BROSTEEL
Water based intumescent coating for structural steel, designed for the general painting and decorating trade, to provide half hour and one hour fire resistance. This intumescent can be applied by brush or spray to provide a decorative finish which enhances the design feature of the building. Flameguard Topseals are available in a full range of colours using our in-house tinting system to achieve a high quality durable finish.

Intusteel WB  

INTUSTEEL WB
Water based intumescent coating for structural steel which provides a highly decorative, smooth, thin film protective system designed for the larger projects where cost efficiency is vital. The product, which was designed for spray application, enhances the visual effect of the steel profile to form part of the overall design concept.

The Intusteel WB system can be overcoated with Flameguard Topseals which are available in a full range of colours using our in-house tinting system to achieve a high quality durable finish.

Fireshield  

FIRESHIELD
Solvent based, decorative intumescent protection for structural steel. Designed for spray application only, this material can be applied as a single coat to achieve 1 hour loadings on most universal steel sizes. Fire tested for up to 90 minutes fire resistance, for internal use and is highly resistant to mechanical damage and moisture.

Fireshield can be overcoated with Flameguard Topseals which are available in a full range of colours using our in-house tinting system to achieve a high quality durable finish.

Broflame   BROFLAME
Water based intumescent coating for timber. Upgrades timber substrates to Class 1 and Class 0 fire protection on new and previously painted boards. A water based intumescent that can be applied by brush or spray to provide a decorative finish. Flameguard Topcoats are available in a full range of colours using our in-house tinting system to achieve a high quality, durable finish.

Intumescent varnish for timber. Upgrades timber substrates to Class 1 and Class 0 fire protection. Applied by brush or spray over bare or stained timber to highlight the natural beauty of the wood. Provides a natural semi-matt finish which can be overcoated with a Gloss or Eggshell topcoat if required.
