Flame Retardants - Lacquers
		FLAMLAC A high solid, two pack material of alkyd and amino resins which, when catalysed, will cold cure to give a tough resilient film, giving good heat, alcohol and water resistance. Flamlac, when used on Class 1 and Class 0 rated surfaces, will maintain the Class 1 and Class 0 rating. Approved for severe use to FIRA standard 6250: 1999. Flame retardant acid catalysed lacquers will not upgrade timber or veneered timber boards to Class 1 and Class 0. For application to veneered fire boards, where a clear finish is required, treat veneer with Flamsol flame retardant solution prior to application of Flamlac. Where timber or timber boards require upgrading to Class 1 and Class 0, use Bollom’s Intuclear, Intulac or Broflame intumescent coatings. 		FLAMEBAR A highly effective, economical range of 5 water based flame retardants tested to British Standards BS476 parts 6 and 7, BS5867 part 2 (1980), BS3119/3120, BS5852 and BS5665. Designed to improve safety on a wide range of materials. Available in 1 litre trigger sprays, 5 litre and 25 litre containers. 		BROGUARD A versatile water based flame retardant solution for the fire protective of curtains and other loose hung flammable fabrics, tested to BS5867 parts 1 and 2 (1980). Broguard is a ready to use flame retardant solution which is suitable for all types of textiles and fabrics, both woven and non-woven.
